As many who are familiar with Kansas know, the Kansas Turnpike Authority is in charge of the toll roads that go from Southern Terminal, near the Oklahoma border to Bonner Springs, KS. During my brief stint as a part-time Public Relations assistant, I had an opportunity to design and write several marketing pieces and newsletters.
Listed below is the Kansas Turnpike News example, distributed monthly to employees within their paycheck stubs, as well as an example of a brochure they distributed to try to create a sense of ownership within the Turnpike called the Employee Recognition program.
